Spring has come to the borderland. Those aren’t clouds, but rather dust originating from Northern Chihuahua that has blocked out the sun. If you want to talk about the real invasion at the border, this it: Mexico co m ing over the border by the sky full of sand. The forecast for the rest of the day is 40mph sustained winds with gusts to 65mph with the possibility of closing interstates due to lack of visibility. Las Cruces is a wonderful place, but it is also a seriously windy place in the spring. They’ll be some number of days like this through the end of April (at which point we’ll progress to the oppressively hot part of the year until monsoon season kicks up in late June).

How’s your Friday Oppo?

fucking knackered now tho.... seriously.. planning any kind of activity like that after a full days work is just terrible

It is the same in Albuquerque. I am pretty close to the mountains and can’t see them. Really looking forward to real spring . I feel like we earned it this year.

This is the real spring down south.  Spring means only wind here, but you guys had a colder, wetter winter this year up North.
